VP Marketing for UCSB Alpha Phi

As Vice President of Marketing for Alpha Phi at UC Santa Barbara, I led all chapter marketing and branding initiatives, supporting the Alpha Phi Foundation through fundraising promotion and digital campaigns. I managed social media strategy across Instagram and TikTok, growing our audience to 10.8K followers through consistent content creation, engagement, and data-driven strategy.

I oversaw a $40K annual marketing budget, coordinated photoshoots, and directed all creative content to ensure cohesive chapter branding. Additionally, I designed and fulfilled merchandise orders for over 280 members and collaborated with local and national companies on PR partnerships during recruitment, strengthening our chapter’s visibility, engagement, and brand identity.

Marketing Generalist for Veles

Veles is a tech company offering a pricing solution designed to help Account Executives sell faster and more effectively. As a Marketing Generalist, I managed the company’s LinkedIn presence, creating and posting content on behalf of the CEO to strengthen brand awareness and thought leadership. I wrote and distributed the company newsletter, developed sales collateral such as one-pagers and marketing materials for Account Executives, and supported content strategy across digital channels. In this role, I also learned and utilized CRM systems including HubSpot and Apollo to organize outreach, analyze engagement, and align marketing initiatives with sales performance.

Related Coursework & Global Marketing Experience

While studying abroad in Florence, Italy, I completed courses in Entrepreneurship, Marketing, and Fashion & Media to expand my understanding of brand communication in global markets, opportunities not offered at UC Santa Barbara. These classes allowed me to explore how culture influences storytelling, consumer behavior, and branding across industries.

One of my final projects involved creating and designing a magazine-style campaign for a major Italian fashion brand, focusing on luxury positioning and visual storytelling. The second project centered on developing and marketing my own business concept, where I built a brand identity, target audience strategy, and promotional plan.

This experience deepened my perspective on global marketing, creative strategy, and brand development, while enhancing my ability to adapt communication across international audiences.
